Indoor Pool to Reopen March 1

New guidance recently issued by Johnson County health officials about its public health order means we can reopen the Merriam Community Center indoor pool on March 1. This gives time for our lifeguards to get everything ready to reopen the pool.

Adult water classes will begin in March. MCC staff will contact participants who had previously signed up. The MCC plans to start swimming lessons in April.

The Merriam Community Center consists of a beautiful indoor and outdoor facility. We offer many aquatic programs, including group exercise and swimming lessons. For more information on a specific program or facility, please click on a link to the left.
