Bicycles of all types will be collected and refurbished through Shawnee’s bike program. The bikes will then be redistributed through various community service organizations.

Back by popular demand is the Latex Paint Collection Event. We are working with Johnson County Household Hazardous to collect unneeded latex paint. Latex paint will only be taken from households. No commercial institutions paint will be accepted. Oil-based paint, aerosols, paint thinners, stains, and other household hazardous items will not be collected. To dispose of those items please contact Johnson County Health and Environment at 715-6900. Please review information about how to identify latex paint to help you make sure you materials will be taken.
