Wanted: Advertisers

The Merriam Visitors Bureau is gearing up to produce the 2018 Community & Visitors Guide and is inviting Merriam and neighboring businesses to place an advertisement in the magazine. The Merriam Visitors Bureau will accept advertisements from now through Dec. 15.

Second place winner in the 2016 Kansas Tourism Marking Awards for Best Outsourced Visitors Guide, this publication is packed with places to go, things to do, and spots to shop, dine, and play in Merriam and the surrounding areas. It also features engaging editorials, events calendar, and local resources.

Published in February, the guide is mailed to Merriam residents and distributed to all Kansas and Missouri travel centers. The annual publication also circulates at trade shows and other special events and will be available online at

There are new, lower costs for advertisers this year as the Merriam Visitors Bureau will design the guide in-house. Advertisers who contract a full-page advertisement will also receive a FREE coupon in the guide and a listing on the “Special Offers” section on the Merriam Visitor Bureau’s website.

If you are interested in advertising in the 2018 Merriam Community & Visitors Guide, please contact Karen Crane at 913-403-8999 or
