City of Merriam facilities are planned to reopen to the public during Phase Three of Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly’s Ad Astra: A Plan to Reopen Kansas.
According to Gov. Kelly’s plan, Phase Three begins no earlier than June 1, when all businesses and establishments can open to gatherings of up to 90 people.
While all City offices are scheduled to reopen during Phase Three, the Merriam Municipal Court will continue court cases on June 23. The Irene B. French Community Center will remain closed with preparation for the Merriam Community Center opening. The new community center is scheduled to open to charter members on June 22 and to the general public on June 29.
