The City of Merriam is always looking for photos and video footage that illustrates what makes life in Merriam special! Throughout the year, Merriam uses photos and video in print and online publications — and we need your help!

Types of images and video needed

We're constantly working to increase the city's photo and video archives with footage of the people, sights, events, and landmarks that are unique to Merriam. From Merriam businesses and facilities, to community events and neighborhood scenes, if you have photos and videos that represent Merriam, we'd like to see them!

How does it work?

  • Take a photo or shoot a video.
  • Use the form below to submit your file, or
  • email the photo or link to a video file (located on a file sharing site or video service) to jgant@merriam.org.
  • Upload an image file (.jpg preferred) or video file (.avi, .mov, .qt, .mp4, .mpeg, .wmv).
  • Do not upload photos featuring cartoons, celebrities, nudity, artwork, or copyrighted images.
  • Be sure to include a title and/or description of your photo or video with your submission.
  • If submitting a large number of photos, or files totaling more than 8 MB per email, please upload to a file sharing service and include the link in your email, or drop off a CD to Merriam City Hall, 9001 W. 62nd Street.

Your photos and videos might appear on the city's website, social media accounts, or in print publications.
